Naval Reactors Facility S5G EE/CA

The U.S. Department of Energy, in concurrence with the state of Idaho and the Environmental Protection Agency, have released an Engineering Evaluation/Cost Analysis (EE/CA) on the final end state of the Submarine 5th Generation General Electric (S5G) prototype at the Naval Reactors Facility. DOE evaluated 4 alternatives to Decommission and Demolish (D&D) the S5G.
